In Chinese Medicine, the kidneys are considered the foundation of the body, the root of all yin and yang aspects. How vibrant we feel has a lot to do with the strength of our kidneys, as they regulate growth, development, reproduction, sexual health, and our ability to handle to stress. In this class, we will discuss how acupuncture, diet, and certain herbal remedies and supplements can be used to address the following life processes that the kidneys govern: Energy, Warmth, and Sexual Vitality; Growth and Development of the Mind and Body; and Urinary and Reproductive Health.

At the end of the class, Amanda will lead a brief tour through Greenstar, pointing out the various foods and herbs highlighted in the class.
